2nd Annual pREserve Lee County Day! Wed. Sept. 13th • 7am-5pm
Great River Regional Waste Authority will hold their 2nd Annual pREserve Lee County on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 from 7am – 5pm at our Ft. Madison location: 2092 303rd Avenue, Ft. Madison (across from Rodeo Arena). This event is open to all area residents.
Normal fees will apply to all area businesses who wish to attend this event.
• Recycle 1 Appliance & 1 Screened Electronic for Free.*Only 1 of each item per household please. (Examples of screened electronics include: Televisions, Computer Monitors, Laptops, Tablets, Netbooks, etc.) Please call with questions.
• Meet Rocky the Recycler from 3pm – 5pm. Parents bring your camera and snap a few pictures of your kiddos with Rocky!
• HHW Collection will take place all day. *Please call ahead with questions and to schedule an appointed drop off time. This will help us plan accordingly and make the disposal process run quickly and smoothly.
• ReCYCLE for Kids! Bring your unwanted bicycles and donate them to a great cause! We have partnered with Iowa State Prison Industries to collect and refurbish bicycles for those in our community who need them.
• Dispose of your old eye glasses and help the Lion’s Club Recycle for Sight program! Please consider donating your gently used eye glasses that you no longer wear or need during this event, your donation will help those in need of eye glasses but cannot afford them.
