Great River Regional Waste Authority takes pride in helping educate the communities we serve in a number of different ways.

Our team presents inside school classrooms, gives tours of the facility, and provides educational materials to all of the local school districts to help educate the young people on proper recycling methods and ways to help keep their community clean and green!

We also collaborate with many local industries, group and community organizations, as well as small businesses to host Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste Events.

New to our Team is Rocky the Recycler! Rocky, a character on the wildly popular television show Paw Patrol, has a strong will to recycle and help others learn how to recycle. He is very enthusiastic and has thousands of ideas to make recycling fun for the little ones! You can now request Rocky to make an appearance at your school or business related event!
